Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist
Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy
Job Description
Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow)
\nOutpatient Pediatrics • Early Intervention (Babies Can't Wait) • Telehealth Opportunities
\n\n
Help Us Build the Practice Families Hope to Find.
\n\n
At Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy, we believe communication is about so much more than speech.
\nIt's connection.
\nIt's confidence.
\nIt's belonging.
\nIt's helping a child ask for their favorite snack, tell a parent "I love you," advocate for themselves, make a friend, or share an exciting story.
\nThose moments change lives.
\n\n
We're looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist who believes exceptional communication begins with exceptional relationships—and who wants to help build a practice where children, families, and clinicians all thrive.
\n\n
Whether you're an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist or a Clinical Fellow beginning your career, you'll join a collaborative team that values curiosity, humility, kindness, and a genuine desire to help children participate more fully in life.
\n\n
Part Time SLP – Mornings (community-based Effingham, Pooler, Port Wentworth areas) or After school hours in clinic (3-6pm, Monday – Thursday)
\nFull Time SLP – Opportunity to take over a full-time caseload in December 2026/January 2027. (Note: It takes up to 4 months for full credentialing. Apply now if this interests you!)
\n\n
Why Clinicians Choose Chatterbox
\nWe know you have choices when it comes to where you build your career.
\nAt Chatterbox, we've intentionally created an environment where clinicians feel supported, respected, challenged, and encouraged to grow—because we believe exceptional care starts with exceptional people.
\nHere, you'll find:
\n- \n
- A collaborative team of Speech, Occupational, Physical, and Music Therapists who genuinely enjoy learning from one another. \n
- Child-led, neuro-affirming, evidence-informed care that honors each child's strengths, interests, and individuality. \n
- Meaningful mentorship for both Clinical Fellows and experienced clinicians. \n
- A hybrid compensation model that values both direct patient care and the clinical work that happens outside the therapy room. \n
- Dedicated administrative support for scheduling, insurance authorizations, and billing, allowing you to focus on children and families. \n
- Leadership committed to transparency, servant leadership, and investing in people—not just productivity. \n
- A workplace where appreciation, integrity, empathy, responsibility, and continuous growth aren't just words—they're part of how we care for one another. \n
\n
A Variety of Clinical Opportunities
\nNo two clinicians are exactly alike—and neither are our caseloads.
\nWe'll work with you to build a schedule that aligns with your interests, strengths, and professional goals.
\nDepending on your preferences, opportunities may include:
\n- \n
- Outpatient pediatric therapy in our collaborative clinic \n
- Early Intervention services through Georgia's Babies Can't Wait program \n
- Therapy provided in children's natural environments \n
- Telehealth services, when appropriate \n
We believe children make the greatest progress when they're supported across the environments where they live, learn, and play. Whether your passion is early language development, AAC, feeding, autism, speech sound disorders, social communication, or Early Intervention, you'll have the opportunity to build a meaningful and rewarding career.
\n\n
The Ideal Team Member
\nTechnical knowledge matters.
\nCharacter matters just as much.
\nWe can teach systems and continue developing clinical skills. What we're really looking for are people who lead with humility, curiosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to serve others.
\nThe clinicians who thrive here don't just provide excellent therapy.
\nThey become trusted teammates.
\nThey celebrate another therapist's success as enthusiastically as their own.
\nThey step in to help without being asked.
\nThey welcome feedback because they know growth never stops.
\nThey understand that serving children well begins with serving one another well.
\n\n
Who Thrives at Chatterbox
\nThe clinicians who feel most at home here naturally demonstrate the values that shape our culture.
\nAppreciation
\nYou celebrate small victories, intentionally encourage children, families, and teammates, and recognize that every step forward deserves to be celebrated.
\nService
\nYou believe serving children and families is about more than providing therapy—it's about building trust, offering hope, and making a lasting difference.
\nProfessional Growth
\nYou're curious. You ask thoughtful questions. You seek feedback and enjoy learning because you know there's always another opportunity to become a better clinician.
\nIntegrity
\nYou communicate honestly, take ownership of your work, and do the right thing even when no one is watching.
\nResponsibility
\nYou understand that being part of a team means supporting one another, communicating proactively, and contributing to something bigger than yourself.
\nEmpathy
\nYou see the whole child—and the whole family. You recognize that every family has a unique journey and approach each interaction with kindness, compassion, and respect.
\nIf these values resonate with you, there's a good chance you'll feel right at home here.
\n\n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Licensed or eligible for Georgia licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist \n
- ASHA CCCs or Clinical Fellowship eligible \n
- Passion for working with children from birth through young adulthood \n
- Strong communication and collaboration skills \n
- Commitment to evidence-informed, family-centered care \n
Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
\nWe believe exceptional clinicians are developed through mentorship, curiosity, and support—not simply years of experience.
\n\n
Our Hybrid Compensation Model
\nWe recognize that excellent therapy doesn't begin and end when a treatment session does.
\nPlanning.
\nDocumentation.
\nCaregiver education.
\nClinical reasoning.
\nTeam collaboration.
\nThese responsibilities are essential parts of providing outstanding care.
\nThat's why our clinicians are compensated for both:
\n- \n
- Direct treatment time \n
- Administrative time , including documentation, treatment planning, caregiver communication, collaboration, and other clinical responsibilities \n
Because your expertise extends far beyond the minutes spent in the treatment room.
\n\n
Benefits
\nOur full-time clinicians enjoy:
\n- \n
- Hybrid compensation model with paid treatment time and paid administrative time \n
- Competitive compensation based on experience, credentials, and schedule \n
- Health reimbursement through QSEHRA \n
- 401(k) with employer match \n
- CEU reimbursement \n
- ASHA dues reimbursement (SLPs) \n
- Licensure reimbursement \n
- Liability insurance \n
- Chromebook, Microsoft 365, and EMR access \n
- Extensive online continuing education library \n
- Mentorship from experienced clinicians \n
- Collaborative multidisciplinary team \n
- Opportunities in outpatient therapy, Babies Can't Wait Early Intervention, and telehealth \n
\n
Maybe We're the Right Fit...
\nWe know we're not the right fit for every clinician—and that's okay.
\nIf you're looking for a place where collaboration is expected, relationships come before productivity, families are true partners, and lifelong learning is part of the culture, we think you'll feel right at home.
\nIf you're looking for a team that values humility, curiosity, service, and excellence, we'd love to meet you.
\n\n
