Sales AssociateOutstanding opportunity for an experienced Sales Associate in luxury retail goods. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. You should also be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction.Training on our products will be provided.Location: Palm Springs & Palm Desert: Must be open to both locations.Compensation:Monthly Salary - $4,000 - $5,000Commission - 3% - 5% on salesEstimated Sales Range - $800K to $1.5MWhat We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you must have an outgoing, friendly personality along with the desire to foster long-term relationships with our clients. You are a highly motivated self-starter, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. You have strong organizational skills and the ability to anticipate and solve any problem the client may encounter.ResponsibilitiesDevelop new client relationships and nurture existing relationships with consistent communication and follow-up.Greet and assist clients in our showroomEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales serviceAssess customers' needs and provide assistance and information on product featuresFollow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basisGo the extra mile to drive salesPrepare sales quotes and invoicesRespond to incoming calls and web inquiriesQualify and assist new leads via phone, email, and walk-insAssist in maintaining the aesthetics, organization, and overall standards of the showroomStays up to date with sales trends for better service and achievement of salesQualificationsA minimum of 5 years inside sales or high-end retail experienceAvailability to work flexible shifts including weekendsHigh school degree or equivalent; BS degree in Marketing or related field is a plusExperience in the sale of luxury goods is also a plusBasic understanding of sales principles and customer service practicesAn 'artistic eye' and knowledge of or, flare for interior design (highly desired)Must be friendly, energetic, and passionate about building long-term relationships with our customersAdditionally, this individual must be able to self-start, possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), be organized, anticipate and troubleshoot client needs, and be highly motivated.The ability to carry samples to meetings with clients and the willingness to do so.Preferred SkillsDemonstrable success in closing sales in a luxury goods retail environment.Ability to excel in a commission-based setting.Job Type: Full-time
