Registered Nurse III - Oncology Office Practice RN - GI Service

Position Summary The Oncology Office Practice RN - GI Service is a Registered Nurse (RN) position supporting the Oncology Ambulatory Clinics. This role is involved in the entire continuum of care for patients serving as a resource to both the patient and provider team. The nurse is responsible for the complex, multi‑disciplinary care coordination of oncology patients and for developing, evaluating, and revising the plan of care using a team approach that includes the patient, family, and care team. Clinics provide standard of care and research chemotherapy/immunotherapy, supportive care infusions, and clinical interventions. Other performance and patient outcome services include nurse telephone triage, discharge planning, care coordination, ambulatory clinical evaluation, and advanced drug preparation. Patients are seen in our NCI‑Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. This nurse supports adult patients with our GI Service. Work Schedule 40 hours per week, day shifts only; no weekends. Qualifications Bachelor degree in Nursing required Active Maryland or Compact RN license required BLS CPR certification required RN work experience in oncology required; 2 years of experience strongly preferred Benefits Competitive pay and benefits that support you at every stage of your life and career. Salary Range Minimum 43.61/hour - Maximum 67.59/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
