Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Front Desk Operations in Montrose, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a government location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence while monitoring access, assisting visitors, and supporting security-related procedures. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $22.12 - $23.12 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Tue08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Wed08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Thur08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, residents, staff, and guests by carrying out site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a government facility serving veterans. Monitor access to the location, verify visitor credentials as required, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals to appropriate offices or services. Answer incoming telephone calls, provide general information, and communicate routine concerns to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Maintain awareness of front desk activities and report unusual, prohibited, or security-related concerns in accordance with site policies. Minimum Requirements Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Possess a New York State Security Guard License. Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred. Have customer service experience, preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
