Location: Salinas, CA
Schedule: Full-Time 100% Outpatient
Compensation: $150,000 $195,000 (higher range possible based on experience)

Position Overview

A busy outpatient mental health practice in California is seeking a Physician Assistant with prior psychiatric or behavioral health experience. This is a high-demand practice with a streamlined hiring process and strong clinical support.

The position focuses exclusively on outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management across age groups.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses
Provide medication management and follow-up care
Develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain compliance with quality and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Unrestricted California PA license
Prior outpatient mental health experience required
Strong communication and patient engagement skills
Spanish bilingual preferred

Compensation & Benefits
