This role involves conducting audits, providing recommendations, and collaborating with research teams to maintain the highest level of compliance and research integrity. Essential Functions -Plan, organize, and execute audits of research activities to identify compliance gaps, potential risks, and deviations from established standards. -Monitor ongoing research projects to ensure continuous adherence to regulations and policies throughout the research lifecycle. -Ensure that research involving human subjects, animals, and sensitive data follows ethical principles and obtains appropriate approvals. -Interpret and communicate regulatory requirements to research teams, ensuring accurate and up-to-date compliance. -Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, recommendations, and proposed corrective actions. -Identify opportunities to enhance research compliance processes and procedures, recommending improvements to streamline operations.**Qualifications****Education*** Bachelor's Degree required in Healthcare Management or related field of study* Master's Degree in related field of study preferred**Experience*** 3+ years of healthcare Internal audit experience required**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*** Strong understanding of federal regulations, such as the Common Rule, HIPAA, and other relevant research compliance standards.* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them practically.* Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.**Working Schedule*** Hybrid, depending on business needs. On average, onsite required 2 days per week.
