Role Overview
STAFFXPERT is looking for a Senior Guidewire PolicyCenter Business Analyst with strong experience in Commercial Lines Insurance and Guidewire Rating .
The consultant will work with business stakeholders, underwriting teams, product owners, architects, and developers to gather requirements, define functional solutions, and support Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation/enhancement projects .
Must-Have Skills

15+ years of overall IT/Business Analysis experience

Strong Guidewire PolicyCenter experience

Strong Commercial Lines Insurance domain experience

Hands-on experience with Guidewire Rating / rating requirements

Experience with PolicyCenter implementation, upgrade, or support projects

Strong understanding of:

Guidewire Product Model

Underwriting rules

Rating framework

Forms and documents

Guidewire integrations

Strong understanding of insurance premium calculation and rating

Territory-based rating

Ability to validate rating algorithms and premium calculations
Commercial Lines Experience

Business Analysis Responsibilities
-
Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and underwriting teams

Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Create and maintain BRD, FSD, use cases, and process flows
-
Perform process mapping and workflow analysis
-
Work with Product Owners, Rating Architects, Developers, and QA teams
-
Analyze and document rating requirements and premium calculation logic
-
Support defect triage and root-cause analysis
-
Participate in testing and validation of PolicyCenter and rating functionality
-
Support backlog management and requirement prioritization
Preferred

Guidewire Rating Management experience

Experience with external insurance rating engines
-
Guidewire certification
-
Experience working with Guidewire implementation methodology
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
