Order PullerOrder PullerDo you have order pulling experience?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Order Puller Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 17.00 / hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Friday)Order Picking: Read pick sheets, invoices, or digital prompts from RF scanners or voice headsets to locate correct items and quantities.Staging and Packing: Transport gathered goods to shipping areas, wrap pallets, and box items securely with labels.Safely operate material handling tools like manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, or motorized forklifts and reach trucks.Inventory Verification: Count and inspect products for damage or discrepancies, reporting missing stock or inventory errors to supervisors.Loading and Unloading: Assist with freight, loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming shipments.Order Puller Qualifications:Attention to Detail: High accuracy in matching item numbers, SKUs, and quantities to prevent shipping mistakes.Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy packages (frequently 40 to 75 pounds) for long shifts.Technical Literacy: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning hardware.Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to workplace safety rules and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) use.Education: A high school diploma or GED is standard, though most positions provide hands-on, on-the-job trainingApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
