Title: Adjunct Faculty - English Agency: Laurel Ridge Community College Location: Frederick - 069 FLSA: Exempt Hiring Range: Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty: The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant or teaching experience Full Time or Part Time: Part Time Additional Detail Job Description Laurel Ridge Community College is accepting applications for adjunct, part-time faculty day time positions for an English adjunct. Adjunct Faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis as needed. Responsibilities include teaching college level courses, which may include distance learning on and off campus courses during the day, evening and weekends. This position will be located on the Middletown Campus. The position is for daytime teaching, in-person, at our Middletown campus. Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty listings are on a continuous, open until filled basis. Applicants will be contacted on an as needed basis. Compensation and Benefits Adjunct/Continuing Education Faculty: The rate per credit hour will commensurate with education and relevant or teaching experience. The position is part time and as such is not eligible for health or leave benefits. However, the position may offer educational benefits through our professional development and educational assistance policies. Minimum Qualifications Masters in English, Journalism, or Literature or Masters with 18 credits of English. The ability to use instructional technology is required.
