Health Information Management Director Full Time Management Watseka, IL, US 5 days ago Requisition ID: 2132 Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $82,000.00 Annually Iroquois Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Director of Health Information Management (HIM) to join our leadership team and lead the hospital's medical records and health information operations. This opportunity offers the right candidate the opportunity to oversee the integrity, confidentiality, accessibility, and maintenance of patient health records, while ensuring compliance with applicable federal and state regulations. This role is especially important in a rural hospital setting, where effective resource management, cross-departmental collaboration, and efficient workflows are essential to delivering quality patient care. Iroquois Memorial Hospital (IMH) is an acute care critical access hospital located in Watseka, Illinois. Founded in 1916, we have served the community for over a century and remain a cornerstone of local healthcare as the largest employer in Iroquois County, supporting approximately 350 dedicated employees. Our facilities include a 24/7 Emergency Department, a Progressive Care Unit, a 35-bed skilled nursing facility (Iroquois Resident Home), and several primary care clinics across Illinois and Indiana. In this role, you will collaborate closely with hospital leadership, medical staff, nursing, billing, compliance, and information technology to support accurate documentation, and effective information management. It is expected that this role will work onsite and will not be considered for remote work. Ideal Candidate Profile Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred Certified Coder RHIA or RHIT certification required Relevant experience in hospital HIM Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
