Compensation:

+ Full-time/Overtime and weekend

+ Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour – DOE

Job Duties:

The Yard Laborer is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized yard at the PPG Cactus Yard. This position involves general labor duties and outdoor work to support daily operations.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Picking up trash and debris throughout the yard
• Emptying trash bins from the shop and fuel island
• Operating equipment to sweep and clean the yard
• Organizing equipment and materials to improve parking and storage efficiency
• Assisting with cleaning around the shop and fabrication (fab) shop areas
• Maintaining a clean and orderly outdoor work environment
• Following all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements

+ Valid driver's license required.

+ Ability to commute to the job location.

+ Must be able to pass a drug test at all times.

+ Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.

+ Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed. Previous outdoor work experience preferred.

+ Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and around dust, fumes, noise, and moving equipment.

+ Ability to safely operate equipment.

+ Ability to lift up to 70 pounds frequently and up to 90 pounds occasionally.

+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
