Full‑Time Retail Sales Associate $10.00 to $14.00 per hour. Additional commission up to 8% of transactions, which could average an additional $11.07 per hour on top of hourly rate. Most stores open at 9 AM and close at 6 PM; many stores are closed on Sundays. Earned Wage Access program available to all employees on the second day of employment. Vacation: Employees are granted one week of paid vacation after completing six months of full‑time service. FirstCash 401K program is available to all employees 21 years of age or older. Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The role covers a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more. Responsibilities Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend financial solutions. Performs non‑management open/close procedures. Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays. Processes sales and loan transactions per established policies and regulatory requirements. Handles all cash and negotiable items per policy. Answers incoming calls to company standards. Effectively communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools. Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience. Completes assigned training successfully. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. May be asked to assist a customer outside the building or retrieve products from exterior storage. Minimum age 18. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Ability to work in multiple locations as business requires. Flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and office machines. Commission Plan Information The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to FirstCash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2‑8% commission, based on the gross profit of their personal performance. Applicants receive more details during the interview process.
