Role Overview:The Seasonal Human Resources Assistant provides district-wide administrative support for the human resources department. Location:This position is with INDOT's Crawfordsville District. Pay Rate:This position pays an hourly rate of $15.00/hr. A Day in the Life: The essential functions of this role are as follows:

• Assist in record retention project retrieving, preparation, organization of personnel files for archiving.
• Assist in information verification & data entry.
• Assist in building & maintaining personnel files.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to research and document findings. Excellent data entry skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to successfully negotiate resolutions to complex problems or situations. Ability to work independently. Ability to organize thoughts and ideas in a logical manner. Ability to create and use an Excel spreadsheet Supervisory Responsibilities/Direct Reports: This role may be utilized in a supervisory capacity based on agency needs. Benefits of Employment with the State of Indiana:This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period.
