Position: Peds/Neonatal Critical Care Transport RN

This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse with a focus on pediatrics and neonatal critical care transport. The role involves supporting ground transportation needs in the Seattle area.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3x12 Hour Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Weekends: Every other weekend required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the transportation team, including respiratory therapists and advanced practice providers to transport infants and pediatric patients.
• Transport patients from surrounding hospitals, emergency rooms, labor & delivery, and NICUs to higher levels of care at Swedish First Hill.
• Assist as needed in the NICU, PICU, or pediatric units, floating to cover as a bedside nurse.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in pediatric/neonatal critical care and ground transportation.
• Charge Nurse Experience: Preferred.
• Certifications Required:
  
  
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Skills:
  
  
  • End-Tidal CO2 monitoring
  • Arterial line management
  • Care of ventilated patients
  • IV vasopressors management
  • Trauma management and various pediatric procedures
