First Nations Part-Time CFSS Support Worker

We are First Nations, and good, is what we do! Now hiring a part-time CFSS Support Worker to join our Hastings team (client is looking for help from 7:00AM-8:15AM and 4:30PM-6:30PM daily; Monday-Friday, 21.25 hours/week).

Position duties include:

• Provide personal care services to clients in accordance with the care plan.
• Provide assistance including, but not limited to, activities of daily living (ADLs), instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs), and other health related tasks.
• Ensure a safe, clean, healthy home environment.
• Document cares provided to client as instructed.
• Assist with routine household chores of light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship, errands/shopping, and transportation arraignments.
• Recognize safety hazards in client's home environment or habits of daily living.
• Report all safety concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
• Provide clients with social and emotional support.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and treat all individuals with respect.
• Maintain training and educational requirements.

Qualifications:

CFSS Support Worker Certification, high school diploma or GED, and industry knowledge strongly preferred.
