Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Surgical unit position requiring night shift availability and AHA BLS certification, with a 100-mile radius requirement from the facility.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:7
• Night shift schedule (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), 3x12-hour shifts per week
• 36-hour weekly work commitment
• Floating is required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active TN or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA-issued certificates only)
• Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidate's permanent residence must be 100+ miles from the facility's service area

Additional Information

• General orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Travel nurses are expected to actively support nursing students and participate in clinical education alongside their regular patient care duties
• Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility's service area to be eligible
