Veterinarian/Relief Veterinarian

Position Overview Veterinarian / Relief Veterinarian Position Available. All experience levels will be considered; new graduates are encouraged and welcomed to apply. Part‑time or full‑time positions with flexible scheduling options are available. Betz Veterinary Services is a private, family‑friendly practice located in Southeast Coastal Georgia, 30 minutes from Jacksonville and Amelia Island, Florida. The 5,000‑sq‑ft hospital offers a large surgical suite, imaging suite, separate dog and cat hospitalization wards, an isolation ward, a quiet client consult room, and a comfortable lounge. The practice provides full medical services, mobile clinic house‑call availability, and integrated medicine. Responsibilities Perform and assist in soft‑tissue surgery and dental procedures. Conduct patient appointments and clinical examinations. Communicate effectively with clients regarding care plans and treatment options. Work with the public/client communication across all practice areas. Assist with equine medicine, exotic animal care, and alternative medicine as needed. Participate in orthopedics, ophthalmology, ultrasound, and other specialized procedures when required. Contribute to the team’s goal of providing quality medicine and client education. Qualifications An enthusiastic, self‑motivated, team‑player who is eager to learn and grow. Experience with diverse mentorship is encouraged. A strong interest in areas not currently listed is welcomed. Benefits Hourly or salary pay will be discussed at interview, varying by position and hours. Package benefits will also be discussed.
