HousekeeperLevel: EntryJob Location: Country Club Rehab - Warrensburg, MOEducation Level: High School, or EquivalentJob DescriptionTo maintain a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for residents and visitors of the facilityEssential Functions:Performs cleaning and sanitizing tasks per department scheduled policies and services through the facilityUses a cleaning cart to transport cleaning supplies. Stocks cart at end of shiftCleans and disinfects bathrooms, resident rooms, employee break rooms, offices, hallways and entrances per department standards.Removes linens, towels, bedspreads and blankets to launderPicks up and empties trash containers in resident rooms, common spaces, and office areas.Performs isolation cleaning procedures in accordance with established infection control proceduresAssist with laundry tasks as needed to meet resident and facility needsClean floors (Sweeping, vacuuming, wet/dry mopping)Remove dust, dirt, grease, film, etc. from surfaces, using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutionsKeep walls, windows, ceilings, mirrors, etc. clean by washing, wiping, disinfecting, deodorizing, and following the deep cleaning procedures.Stock bathrooms with soap, towels and toilet paperMonitor and report necessary repairs.Attend all mandatory in-services, educational training and department meetings.Competencies:Attention to detailAbility to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents and/or guests.Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously.Reliable transportationWork Environment:This job operates in a healthcare setting. This worker is exposed to adverse environmental factors and involves high risk exposure to blood, tissue and body fluids and chemicals.Physical Demands:To adequately perform the essential functions of the job you must have the physical capabilities to stand, sit, walk for extended lengths of time. Push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted with frequent and/or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
