Associate Director, US Policy Research & Economics

Associate Director, US Policy Research & Economics Requisition R1603746. Location: Princeton, NJ / Washington DC. In this role you will lead evidence‑generation strategies that shape federal and state healthcare policy, driving priority setting and ensuring evidence informs external environments and organizational strategy. Responsibilities Lead design and execution of evidence‑generation strategies for business‑critical policy issues. Serve as a strategic partner in shaping state and federal policy advocacy positions and support direct advocacy and coalition engagement. Drive identification of emerging policy opportunities and risks; develop mitigation options and coordinate formal company responses. Provide senior‑level briefings, intelligence, and strategic insights to leadership. Oversee development of materials and narratives for administration officials and external stakeholders. Lead relationships with external research partners to advance policy and advocacy goals. Requirements 7+ years of policy analytics and/or research experience in healthcare policy and/or economics. Strong data and analytics capabilities, extensive experience in statistical analyses and modelling. Robust understanding of U.S. and global healthcare market dynamics and government payer dynamics. Experience developing models incorporating disparate data types such as financial, medical, claims, utilization, cost, Medicare and Medicaid data. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate complex analytics to diverse audiences. Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams, handle ambiguity, and manage high‑pressure situations under tight timelines. Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree in health policy, economics, statistics, finance, or applied mathematics required. Compensation Princeton, NJ and Washington, DC: $182,070 – $220,626 base salary. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available. Final compensation is based on experience.
