Own the end-to-end architecture of modern Safety/Pharmacovigilance Data Platforms, ingesting data from various clinical and non-clinical systems and transforming it into insights for internal and external users using scalable big data pipelines on GCP. Must have Pharmacovigilance experience, including understanding of the ArisG ecosystem for data dependency purposes. Design and develop flexible, scalable, and resilient data processing pipelines using industry-leading tools and technologies, including serverless architectures, containers, and Data Fabric. Translate business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses. Write clear, detailed, and concise documentation—architecture diagrams, reference architecture, data flows, data models, and implementation plans. Enhance our API infrastructure connecting web portals to the back-end processing engine. Leverage latest innovations in data science to improve our footprint. Collaborate with Security and Risk Management teams to improve security posture and develop disaster recovery plans. Proficient in scripting with Iron Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and basic Python and R scripting.
