Clinical Concierge – NCT with MA/LVN – Coppell Home Location: 130 N. Denton Tap Rd. suite 140, Coppell, Texas 75019 (This position will float across multiple Texas Health Urgent Care locations) Work hours: Full-Time, 3–12 hour shifts a week (rotating days, weekends and holidays), 7:45 AM – 8:15 PM Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Completion of an approved NCT training program required Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program required, or other successful completion of a vocational nurse program required Minimum six months of previous health care facility clinical experience as an LVN, MA, CNA, or other patient care role required Minimum six months of previous x‑ray experience or completion of an internal THR NCT training program in lieu of experience required Previous experience as a licensed NCT preferred Previous experience with electronic health record, straight‑arm x‑ray and orthopedic experience preferred Registered NCT (Non‑Certified Radiology Technician) by the Texas Medical Board upon hire required Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the State of Texas upon hire required if not already licensed Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification maintained every 2 years and required prior to providing independent patient care THR Urine Drug Collector training maintained every 5 years and required within 30 days of hire Responsibilities Guide consumers and their secondary guests through the urgent care visit to enhance the consumer experience and maximize throughput. Assist the provider with care and treatment, laboratory testing, x‑ray examinations, and other duties. Perform patient registration, collection of payments, rooming, and patient discharge. Collect identification and payor related documentation, conduct registration using EPIC workflow. Measure and document vitals and communicate the resulting data to the consumer and provider. Document chief complaint, allergies, health history, and current medications accurately in EPIC. Perform and document laboratory testing and collections per provider orders. Administer and document oral and intramuscular medication using the appropriate workflow. Assist provider with procedures including maintaining sterile field, laceration repair, I&D, and orthogoods and orthoglass application. Perform diagnostic x‑rays and document completion within licensed scope of practice. Behave professionally and empathetically to build trust and relationships with consumers and secondary guests. Welcome consumers and secondary guests, inquire about purpose and nature of visit. Recognize emergent patients, perform BLS, provide oxygen administration, and assist provider with emergency care. Schedule primary care referrals for consumers. Maintain office supplies, medical supplies, and medications at appropriate par levels. Perform quality checks throughout the facility per established policies and procedure. Other duties as assigned.
