As an Armed Security Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to resident and visitor needs with professionalism. This driving post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Valid Driver's LicenseArmed Guard Card/License Job Schedule: DayTimeFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, community policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of residential streets, common areas, amenities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report suspicious or prohibited activity to appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and maintain professional communication with residents, property staff, and responding public services personnel. Minimum Requirements: Possess an Armed Guard Card or License. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
