Warehouse JanitorSchedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pmCompensation: $18.50 per hourESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS• Services and cleans warehouse and outside property outlined in the Master Cleaning Program.• Gathers and empties trash.• Cleans facility floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.• Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.• Notifies managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.• Maintains inventory of janitorial supplies and monitors usage of janitorial supplies.• Keeps storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.• Cleans windows and glass partitions using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.• Dusts furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.• Moves heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks or forklifts.• Drives vehicles required to perform or travel to cleaning work, including industrial trucks, carts or industrial scrubber.• Performs snow and ice removal, and ice-melt application during inclement weather.• Moves controls to drive battery-powered trucks or carts.• Reliable attendance at scheduled shifts.• Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.• Performs all other duties as assigned or needed.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSCompetency Statement(s)• Attendance - Ability to work required schedule and arrive at work on time.
