We are seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Lead Installer and Team Leader to oversee residential and/or light commercial installation projects while guiding a high-performing crew. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, efficient project execution, and delivering an excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC installation teams on a variety of projects, ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including furnaces, air handlers, condensers, heat pumps, ductwork, and related components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and manufacturer instructions.
• Coordinate daily work assignments, material needs, and project timelines with team members and leadership.
• Inspect work in progress and completed installations to confirm quality, code compliance, and company standards.
• Train and mentor installers and apprentices, promoting safe work practices and professional development.
• Communicate clearly with customers, inspectors, contractors, and internal teams as needed.
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and resolve issues in the field effectively.
• Maintain accurate records related to labor, materials, equipment, and job progress.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC installation, with leadership or lead installer experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, materials, and installation best practices.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as required.
• EPA certification and other relevant HVAC certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating installation crews and managing jobsite workflow.
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Experience with residential, commercial, or light commercial HVAC systems.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
