Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. Pay Rate $15.30 - $16.00 per hour Key Responsibilities Supervise and observe swimmers at all times to ensure their safety. Administer first aid to minor injuries such as small cuts and bruises. Maintain amenities and cleanliness in changing rooms, bathrooms, and showers. Assist in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons for members as directed by the department manager. Enforce the rules of conduct. Perform pool maintenance, including checking chemicals and vacuuming. Check first aid supplies and report needed items to management in a timely manner. Organize and monitor pool games at all times; suggest poolside games. Skim bugs and other debris from the surface to prepare the pool for daily use and empty the automatic skimmer. Clean up and organize the pool area at the end of the day. Maintain all necessary records as determined by the department manager. Incorporate safe work practices in job performance. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of lifeguarding experience. CPR, AED, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certification. Other Qualifications Regular and reliable attendance. Knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes. Benefits Employees age 19+ are eligible for the 401(k) plan.
