Job Description
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide top-notch patient care in a critical access environment. As part of the healthcare team, the CNA will float between Medical Surgical (MS) and Emergency Room (ER) departments, delivering compassionate care to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of patient care in both Med Surg and ER settings.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status.
- Support nursing staff in performing procedures and providing treatment as directed.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout their care experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and report any changes in patient condition.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Room, 2 years preferred.
- Comfortable floating between Medical Surgical and Emergency Room departments.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- BLS certification is required.
- Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically CPSI, is a plus.
