CNA Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $990-$1,060
• Location: Wabasha, Minnesota
• Healthcare Setting: Long-term care and skilled nursing facility
• Start Date: October 26, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour evening shift, primarily 1:45 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
• Weekend Rotation: Two weekends on, followed by one weekend off
• Holiday Coverage: Holiday rotation required
• Flexibility: May float to other units as needed; no on-call requirement
• Scrubs: Any professional color

Certified Nursing Assistant Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
• Active Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant license
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to assist residents with transfers and mobility needs, including use of Hoyer lifts and sit-to-stand equipment
• Reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and ability to manage resident care responsibilities independently
• Comfort working with residents who may require total assistance, rehabilitation support, or end-of-life care
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions may be considered
• Matrix charting experience preferred

CNA Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered resident care in a long-term care and skilled nursing environment
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, feeding, and repositioning
• Support safe resident transfers and mobility using appropriate equipment and two-person assistance when needed
• Monitor resident comfort, safety, and changes in condition, and promptly communicate observations to the nursing team
• Complete assigned patient care tasks accurately and in a timely manner while maintaining resident dignity
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and fellow nursing assistants
• Float between units as needed to help maintain consistent resident care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility procedures
