HUDSON LOOP IS HIRING EXPERIENCED PAINTERS

Location: Brooklyn, New York

Hudson Loop is expanding its interior painting services and seeking skilled, dependable painters who take pride in their work. Projects include occupied and vacant apartments, offices, hallways, and common areas.

We are looking for professionals who deliver clean, consistent results, respect residents and their belongings, and communicate well with supervisors and coworkers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces through cleaning, minor filling, caulking, and sanding where appropriate and authorized.
• Apply primer and paint to walls, ceilings, doors, baseboards, and trim.
• Use brushes and rollers to achieve clean lines, even coverage, and consistent finishes.
• Follow instructions for paint colors, finishes, coats, and drying times.
• Move and cover furniture and protect floors, fixtures, outlets, and surrounding surfaces.
• Inspect completed work for missed areas, drips, uneven coverage, and other imperfections.
• Complete required touch-ups before the final walkthrough.
• Clean tools and work areas, remove coverings, and return furniture as directed.
• Report damaged surfaces, unsafe conditions, material shortages, and delays to the manager.
• Follow site safety procedures and applicable lead-safe practices.
• Maintain professional conduct and respect residents’ privacy.

Qualifications

• Previous professional interior painting experience.
• Strong brush and roller skills; spray equipment experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, primers, paint types, and finishes.
• Ability to understand job instructions and complete assignments with limited supervision.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to perform essential job duties, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
• Lead-safe/RRP training is a plus.
