Forklift Operator/Laborer

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: We’re seeking an experienced Forklift Operator/Laborer to support material handling for pipe fabrication and yard operations. In this role, you’ll locate, move, and stage materials; operate both fixed‑mast and extendable‑boom forklifts; and assist crews in preparing for fabrication and delivery activities. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment. Experience Level Intermediate Primary Responsibilities and Duties Operate fixed-mast forklifts (Hyster or similar) and extendable-boom forklifts (Lull or similar) Locate, move, stage, and deliver materials throughout the laydown yard and fabrication area Assist craft workers with setup, rigging, and material handling Perform daily equipment checks, cleaning, and basic preventative maintenance Safely rig and lift heavy loads using equipment and approved methods Maintain accurate accountability of materials for location, staging, and project delivery Follow all safety procedures and maintain an organized work environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in material handling, construction, or a related field Ability to operate forklifts and hand/power tools safely and efficiently Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions General knowledge of construction or yard operations Requirements Ability to meet all physical requirements, including repetitive lifting and outdoor work Ability to work in all weather conditions in a yard or warehouse environment Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends based on workload needs Commitment to all site safety rules Other duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
