Job Title: Production Supervisor

Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee production lines in an automotive setting
• This role involves supervising a team to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety in meeting production goals

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise, lead, coach, and direct team leaders and labor concerning production volume, cost, quality, and adherence to production schedules
• Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports
• Plan headcount for absences, holidays, training, and workshops
• Complete Attendance Register and ADP data entry daily, including approving employee time and updating schedules
• Conduct standardized work audits and ensure adherence to Standardized Work procedure
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to schedule operator rotations
• Liaise with support functions such as maintenance, HSE, and quality to resolve and prevent build issue

Essential Skills

• Experience in production supervision, particularly in an automotive environment
• Knowledge of UAW union operations
• Proficiency in production management, safety, continuous improvement, supervision, and assembly
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, and process improvement

This is a Permanent position based out of Detroit, MI.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Detroit,MI.
