Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shifts are scheduled for nights from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with alternating weekends required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse to provide quality patient care in a hospital setting. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional nursing services while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and perform treatments as directed by medical staff.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the appropriate medical personnel.
Document patient care and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment and care options.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required.
Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
