Dental Hygiene Instructor, Adjunct

As a Dental Hygiene instructor for a certified Great Place to Work, assists with providing leadership in managing and implementing a comprehensive registered dental hygienist program in support of University, campus, or department. Enables an environment that fosters creativity, responsiveness, and self-responsibility. Responsible for supporting the delivery of the didactic curriculum, faculty and student mentorship, and student academic and disciplinary advisement.

EDUCATION:

Must be a graduate from a US Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited dental hygiene program. Master’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university which includes course work in higher general education and/or administration required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

Current California Registered Dental Hygienist license. Current American Heart Association CPR Certification (BLS)

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

Must have a minimum of five (5) years of dental hygiene clinical experience. Minimum three (3) years prior experience in academic leadership. Minimum three to five year’s prior experience in teaching in higher education. Knowledge in technological support and delivery of educational programs and services. Leadership knowledge in the program field to cultivate a learner-centered environment and to foster excellence. CA Salary Range USD $42.29 - USD $61.31 /Hr.
