Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Physician – Tennessee

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Rural Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotational 10-hour shifts (morning, mid, and night); no call required

Highlights:

158-bed facility with approximately 101 average daily patient census and 119 billable encounters
Accredited chest pain and stroke center
Standard emergency medicine cases; no trauma center
Team-based environment working alongside 1–2 physicians and APPs per shift, plus nursing and tech support
1-year contract duration with emergency privileges available for qualified candidates
Two-day orientation and shadow training provided

Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians must have a minimum of 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience
New graduates welcome to apply
Clean credentialing file required
Standard ED procedural competency expected
Case logs required (specific requirements provided during credentialing)
