Industrial maintenance technician

We're seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for 1st shift in an automotive lighting manufacturing environment.

What we're looking for:

• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated equipment.
• Ability to prioritize repairs and work independently or with a team.
• Technical training or an industrial maintenance certification preferred.
• Automotive manufacturing and injection molding equipment experience are a plus.

salary: $21 - $40 per hour

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including injection molding machines, assembly equipment, conveyors, and automated systems.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Troubleshoot sensors, motors, drives, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Read electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and mechanical drawings.
• Work with production, engineering, and process technicians to resolve equipment problems.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately.
• Follow lockout/tagout procedures and all plant safety requirements.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends
