Your opportunity: We are seeking a cook whose primary responsibility is organization to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ability to coordinate meal preparation and presentation with fellow culinarians. We have part-time available.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepares quality food in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as Fleet Landing's established policies and procedures.
• Prepares meals in accordance with planned menus and adheres to regulated food temperature standards.
• Serves food in accordance with established therapeutic/mechanically altered diet regulations.
• Prepares food in accordance with standardized recipes and special diet orders.
• Completes daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Qualifications: Minimum education required: high school education preferred. Must be able to read, write, speak English and follow written and oral directions. Technical or vocation training in food service or one (1) year on-the-job training is preferred. Experience: one (1) year cooking experience in an institutional or restaurant setting is desirable.
