Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full-Time Meriden Health and Rehab | Meriden, CT $33–$36/hour | Full-Time | Benefits Available LTC Therapy Services

Physical Therapist Assistant

. Join a skilled nursing rehabilitation team where your daily treatment sessions help residents build strength, improve mobility, and regain confidence following illness, injury, or hospitalization. What You'll Do Deliver individualized treatments outlined in the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care.

Guide residents through exercises that address strength, balance, and endurance.

Practice walking, bed mobility, and transfers using appropriate assistance and prescribed equipment.

Reinforce safe movement strategies with residents and caregivers to support progress outside therapy.

Observe treatment responses and communicate changes in function, symptoms, or participation to the PT.

Complete timely treatment documentation and work with nursing and fellow therapists to coordinate mobility recommendations.

Qualifications Active Connecticut Physical Therapist Assistant license.
