Job Overview Staff Speech Language Pathologist responsible for evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning of all patients referred for their given services. The Speech Therapist is an integral healthcare provider accountable to assist the patient to their highest level of function. Essential Functions Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, treatment interventions, and discharge planning for a full patient caseload in acute care, skilled facility, acute rehab, and outpatient settings as appropriate. Participate in student education and teaching commensurate with novice clinician. Plan, organize, and deliver treatment programs to help clients and patients recover and rehabilitate. Utilize tools and techniques to administer safe therapeutic interventions and trainings for patients and families. Record and document clients’/patients’ health progress information, including evaluation, daily treatments, progress notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required. 0-2 years of clinical practice required. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required. State License required. CPR certification required. Employment Details Work Shift: Rotating. Employment Type: Regular Employee.
