Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in various settings, whether inpatient or outpatient, and develop personalized treatment regimens
• Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise protocols
• Keep meticulous records of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary conferences to guarantee seamless and coordinated care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a PT
• CPR certification is advantageous
• Specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are welcomed but not mandatory
