Hiring Rate - $33 per hour Essential Duties And Responsibilities Within a team environment, this position will perform the following responsibilities: Provide Services to enrolled recipients (60%) Individualized Child and Family Centered Consultation (20%) Community Referrals (10%) Other: (10%) For a full overview of position requirements, please review the Project Based Mental Health Therapist job flyer Job Specifications Minimum Required -Education: Master’s or Doctoral Degree in psychology, social work, or related and license-eligible in the State of California through the BBS or BOP; Experience: Minimum of 1 year of direct experience providing therapy to adults, couples, families and children in a clinic-based or private practice setting. Experience gained during practicum training will be considered. Minimum of 1 year of experience, working with children birth to five and their families in any capacity (teaching, mental health, school, center, day care, etc.). Knowledge of trauma informed care, ACEs/PEARLs, mental health and developmental issues with children 0-5 years. Professional/Technical Certifications: Must be license-eligible in the State of CA (AMFT, ACSW) – and registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)); must maintain current CA BBS registration in good standing for the duration of employment. Maintain First Aid & CPR certification. Bilingual Required: Ability to converse, write and/or translate in English and Spanish Travel: Some travel/business related driving required; Staff may choose any mode of transportation (driving, walking, bicycling, carpooling, etc) to arrive to and depart from the location where attendance is required. Should a staff member choose to drive, the staff member must become an approved driver with CCRC prior to driving on behalf of CCRC. Approved drivers driving on behalf of CCRC may choose to drive a CCRC vehicle or own vehicle and must meet requirements to be an approved driver including holding and maintaining current auto insurance, current California Driver’s License and receiving DMV clearance. Work Schedule: Full time, typically M-F, ability to at times work a non-traditional work schedule including early mornings, late evenings and weekends. Work environment: Mixture of working in an office work environment and working directly with the community; field-based ·Background & Health Clearance Requirements: Bridge & FWB Background check required. As a grant-funded Agency supporting Children and Family Services, CCRC conducts background checks commensurate with the role to verify candidate qualifications (criminal history, employment history / experience, education, reference checks) and ensure grant compliance. Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) assists close to 50,000 parents, children, and child care providers each month in Northern Los Angeles County and the entirety of San Bernardino County serving a total area of 22,500 square miles. Since 1976, CCRC has been managing programs to assist with issues such as finding and selecting child care, child care financial assistance, school readiness, home visiting, and research and program evaluation. CCRC's early care & education specialists offer parents and child care professionals assistance ranging from finding child care and child development ages & stages to marketing child care businesses and CPR training and certification.
