Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse – High-risk Maternity

Schedule: 12-hour nights, 18:45–07:15 Every other weekend required; minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Assignment Details: Contract lengths accepted: 13–26 weeks

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years (3 years preferred) in high-volume OB
• Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate or AWHONN Advanced (or C-EFM), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS/BCLS
• EMR experience: Epic
• Experience with circulating for C-section (OR experience preferred)
• Competence in immediate newborn care
• Skills in high-risk antepartum, L&D triage, and neonatal/infant resuscitation

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide care to high-risk obstetrical patients during the intrapartum, antepartum, and postpartum periods.
• Conduct triage assessments, handle multiple patient admits, and assist in high-acuity situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care for patients.
• Perform sterile procedures, including vaginal exams, and manage neonatal resuscitation as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only).
• Pre-hire testing is required within 48 hours after signing.
• RTO policy: 7 days max for auto approval, no RTO during the first week. Must work two of three major holidays.
• Scrubs provided (blue).
