Audiology Extern

A Brief Overview Under the supervision of a licensed, certified audiologist, provides a continuum of Audiology services that include the identification, diagnosis, prevention, consultation and management/treatment of patients with hearing, communication or vestibular impairments. Participates in the implementation of the newborn hearing screening and assessment program at UHCMC. What You Will Do Patient evaluation, interpretation of findings and treatment plan (55%) Management/treatment of hearing loss (25%) Documentation of results and treatment plan (10%) Equipment use, troubleshooting and maintenance (5%) Projects as assigned (5%) Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
