Clinical Therapist Position

Provide a wide range of clinical services to consumers within limits of training and credentialing under clinical supervision. Essential duties include conducting initial evaluations and consumer intake interviews, assessing consumer's presenting problems and formulating diagnosis, developing and implementing consumer treatment plans, carrying out case management services, maintaining an active caseload, providing behavioral interventions using evidence-based practice, providing crisis management for consumers, following center procedures regarding the provision of consumer care and documentation, maintaining consumer and program records, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of human development, participating in continuing education activities, attending meetings, serving as a resource person to center and community, maintaining a high level of ethical conduct, demonstrating competent use of electronic medical record, completing required CANS and/or ANSA training, performing telehealth services, and performing any other duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in the field of mental health, advanced knowledge and skills in community-based mental health care, competence in assessment and treatment of chemically dependent consumers, knowledge of the natural history of dependence and relevant biological and sociocultural factors, good written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills, competence in assessment of and treatment planning for children, adolescents and families, understanding and knowledge of the range of treatment needed and appropriate utilization of available treatment resources, and willingness to use reliable personal transportation in work capacity.

Certificates, licenses, and registrations include being licensed in the state of Indiana preferred, maintaining current crisis prevention intervention (CPI) certification (onsite therapists only), maintaining current CPR/First Aid certification (onsite therapists only), and having a valid driver's license in accordance with motor vehicle policy.
