Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2232 $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week • 12-hour variable PM and night shifts; PM shifts are 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, 10:00 AM–10:00 PM, and 11:00 AM–11:00 PM; night shifts are 5:00 PM–5:00 AM • Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required • May be required to float to other locations including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley • Possibility for on-call assignments, though rarely required and asked in advance • Work in a Trauma Level II, 18-bed emergency department with a fast-paced environment • Caseload of 3–4 patients per nurse • Unit serves stroke, cardiac, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory patient populations • Responsibilities include drawing labs, performing nebulizer treatments, and working with Pyxis medication dispensers • Radiology staff and respiratory therapy available on-site in the ED • EPIC charting experience required • Minimum 2 years of experience required; Trauma Level I or II experience required for candidates without prior travel experience • Prior travel experience preferred • Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA) • Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred • Scrub color: Any color • Candidates should be hard-working, resilient, adaptable to change, and able to manage independently and complete tasks in a timely manner Facility: This facility is a Trauma Level II emergency department featuring an 18-bed unit with stroke certification and comprehensive specialty capabilities including cardiac, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory care. The emergency department is supported by on-site radiology staff, in-house laboratory services, and in-house respiratory therapy, providing a well-rounded clinical environment for emergency care professionals.
