Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the maximum uptime, reliability, and safety of our production machinery and facility equipment. Your primary focus will be performing both scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and rapid-response corrective maintenance (troubleshooting and repairs) on complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled inspections, calibrations, and routine servicing on electrical and mechanical systems to maximize equipment uptime.

• Corrective Repairs: Rapidly troubleshoot and repair failing automated machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, and robotic systems.

• Diagnostics: Read electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and pneumatic/hydraulic diagrams to isolate and fix root causes of equipment failure.

• Component Replacement: Repair or replace faulty electrical parts (VFDs, sensors, relays, switches) and mechanical parts (gears, bearings, valves, belts).

• Safety & Documentation: Strictly follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA safety standards while logging all work in a CMMS tracking system.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Technical degree, certificate, or apprenticeship in Mechatronics, Industrial Electricity, or Electro-Mechanical Technology preferred.

• Experience: 2–3+ years of industrial maintenance or manufacturing equipment repair experience.

• Electrical Expertise: Hands-on experience with AC/DC power, control wiring, and 3-phase systems (up to 480V).

• Mechanical Expertise: Proficient in troubleshooting pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, and power transmission components.

• Automation Skills: Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and automated control systems using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
