Sr. Analyst, Scheduling

Senior Analyst, Scheduling Location: Tucson, AZ, U.S. Role Type: Onsite. This position requires a U.S. security clearance (Secret). Candidates must be U.S. citizens. More information about security clearances can be found on the U.S. Department of State government website: Responsibilities Evaluate and coordinate training needs to improve metrics and system accuracy. Improve process flows for assemblies in progress, material availability, and potential production problems. Resolve production issues to ensure personnel, equipment, materials, and services are available. Analyze bills of material in an MRP system; release and track work orders and material through the assembly process. Support material supply and demand, preparing work orders based on shop load and inventory requirements. Coordinate interdepartmental activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering. Propose solutions to mitigate work stoppages due to material order slips. Interface with internal customers. Lead projects or teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives. Manage hand‑on material throughout its life cycle, issuing to work orders or projects, handling returns to suppliers, and shipping to customers. Directly support CORE and other continuous improvement activities. Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience, with minimum 2 years of relevant experience; advanced degree preferred. Experience in supply chain/production control and scheduling. Ability to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government–issued security clearance prior to start date. Experience with special program access or other enterprise planning systems. Experience with government and depot‑type processes. Proficient in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and MS Office 365 applications. Ability to read and evaluate parts lists and work in a production planning system.
