Radiology Student X-ray Tech (PRN) - Hands-On Imaging

Join our team as a PRN, Radiology Student X-ray Technician in Pryor, OK. Responsibilities Under general supervision of the Radiologist and Radiology Manager, the X‑Ray Tech Student performs diagnostic tests, patient care, and selects appropriate technical factors to ensure proper diagnosis of patients. Operate diagnostic imaging equipment while under the direction of a Radiology Technologist. Maintain appropriate exposure levels according to ALARA standards. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served. Perform technical and clerical duties as delegated by the Radiology Manager and/or a Registered Radiology Technologist. Qualifications Currently attending an Accredited two‑year Radiology Technology training program at a school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA. ARRT or ARRT Registry eligible (upon successful completion of Accredited two‑year Radiology Technology training program). BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
