Role Description The Director of Rehabilitation is a full-time, on-site role based in Dearborn, MI, responsible for leading and overseeing all rehabilitation services within Allegria Village. This role manages physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care for residents across outpatient and inpatient settings. Daily responsibilities include supervising rehab staff, coordinating interdisciplinary care plans, monitoring clinical outcomes, and supporting smooth transitions between levels of care such as short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care. The Director will develop and implement policies, optimize scheduling and workflows, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. This position collaborates closely with physicians, nursing, and wellness teams to support whole-person wellness and enhance residents’ functional independence and quality of life. Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Rehabilitation, including program development, clinical oversight, and interdisciplinary care coordination. Advanced clinical skills and experience in Physical Therapy, with a focus on geriatric and post-acute care populations. Proficiency in Occupational Therapy, emphasizing functional independence, activities of daily living, and adaptive strategies for older adults. Knowledge and experience in Speech Therapy, including communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders in senior living and post-acute settings. Solid understanding of Medicine as it relates to geriatrics, chronic disease management, and collaboration with physicians and nursing teams. Current professional license (PT, OT, SLP, or related field) in the state of Michigan; advanced degree in a rehabilitation discipline preferred. Prior leadership or management experience in a senior living, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation setting. Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills, with the ability to mentor and develop clinical staff. Experience with regulatory compliance, documentation standards, and quality improvement in healthcare. #J-18808-Ljbffr
