Av Technician

Our client, an education company, is looking for an AV Technician for their St. Louis, MO location.

Responsibilities

• Direct A/V support for classrooms, academic spaces, and events
• Troubleshooting moderately complex A/V and classroom technology issues
• Supporting installations, setups, system status, and downtime procedures
• Training, scheduling, and managing staff and/or student employees

Requirements

• Must have strong customer service skills, and should not be higher level engineer types.
• Streaming and web-conferencing knowledge
• Camera operation
• Understanding of room A/V equipment
• Portable sound reinforcement and video projection
• Strong customer service
• Adaptability, organization, communication, and flexibility
• Minimum qualifications
• Associate's degree plus 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination
• Experience with A/V and classroom controller hardware/software
• Technical knowledge of video and web conferencing tools
• Experience with both Windows and Apple systems
• Preferred qualifications
• Info Comm CTS certification
• Experience in higher education A/V or technology support
• Experience training others on technology use
• Languages: English Read Write Speak
