The Nurse Supervisor Operating Room (OR) leads daily operations of a fast-paced perioperative services department, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical care by overseeing patient flow from pre-op through PACU, coordinating staffing, scheduling, and case assignments, and enforcing AORN standards, infection prevention protocols, and surgical safety checklists. The Operating Room Nurse Supervisor partners closely with surgeons, anesthesia, sterile processing, and materials management to maintain instrument/equipment readiness, optimize on-time starts and turnover times, and manage preference cards, supplies, and implants for cost-effective care. Responsibilities include conducting team huddles, mentoring and evaluating OR nurses and surgical technologists, onboarding and competency validation, auditing documentation in the EMR, resolving escalations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives using evidence-based practice and Lean methodology. The role ensures regulatory compliance (The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA), leads quality and patient experience efforts, analyzes performance metrics, and fosters a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability to deliver exceptional surgical outcomes.

What's Needed to Succeed:

• Degree from an accredited school of Nursing
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of Florida or ability to obtain upon hire
• Proven leadership experience in a surgical settings, including circulating and scrub experience
