# Job Opportunity – Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: August 17, 2026
Location: Smyrna, Tennessee

Schedule: Every other weekend required; 4:1 patient ratio with surge bed capacity Highlights:

• 39-bed Emergency Department with comprehensive critical care capabilities
• Advanced procedures including intubation, chest tube insertion, and splinting performed on unit
• Experience with STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis, and trauma protocols
• Meditech EDM documentation system
• Supportive staffing model with free lead nurse, unit clerk, paramedics, EMTs, LPNs, and behavioral health sitters
• State-of-the-art equipment including Rapid Infuser and Glidescope technology

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI certifications required
• Experience with critical care drips, sedation, ESI (Emergency Severity Index), and code management
• Preferred experience with STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis protocols, and trauma care
• Charcoal grey scrubs (required uniform)
